DV 2009 Results and Winners.

DV 2009 results for all the selected winners were sent by normal postal mail to their respective addresses which were submitted by them in the E-dv online entry in the year 2007. There was an error in the winning notification there is a sentance reads as ” for fiscal year 2008(October,1,2007 to September 30, 2009)" This sentence should be read as the following. In Asia consular office has published a notice regarding it.

Here is a part of it,“DV-2009 Notice,
An error has been identified in the computer generated 2009 Diversity Immigrant Visa notification letter. The letter should read “fiscal year 2009 (October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009).” We apologize for any confusion caused by the error".

As all the winners are notified, those applicants who didn't receive the winning notification must consider them as not luckypersons and can prepare themselves for the coming diversity visa lottery for the fiscal year 2010. Those eligible people can apply DV 2010 for a period of 60 days this year 2008 through the American Government official web site.
